Travel by Rail & Metrolink
Frequent rail services operate to and from Manchester Piccadilly and Manchester Victoria Stations. From Manchester Piccadilly take the Eccles Metrolink service (which runs every 12 minutes) to Salford Quays Station a journey of about 17 minutes. From Manchester Victoria take the Altrincham Metrolink Service, change at Piccadilly Gardens or Mosley Street and pick up the Eccles Metrolink service to Salford Quays. Furness House is a short walk from Salford Quays Station – walk down The Quays and at the 2nd set of Traffic Lights turn right into Furness Quays and follow the road round.
From the North West - M61
At the end of the M61, join the M60 (Manchester Outer Ring road), following the signs for Manchester Airport. Leave the M60 at Junction 12 and join the M602 signposted Salford and Manchester City Centre. Leave the M602 at Junction 3 and at the roundabout turn right and join the A5063 (Traff ord Road). From the West - M62
At Junction 12 of the M62 join the M602 signposted Salford and Manchester City Centre. Leave the M602 at Junction 3 and at the roundabout turn right and join the 5063 (Traff ord Road). Then see local directions below.
From the South - M6
At Junction 21A of the M6 join the M62 towards Manchester. At Junction 12 of the M62 join the M602 signposted Salford and Manchester City Centre. Leave the M602 at Junction 3 and at the roundabout turn right and join the A5063 (Traff ord Road). Then see local directions below.
Local Directions
Once on the A5063, turn right at the 2nd set of traffic lights (The Quays). Then at next traffic lights turn right (still on The Quays) and then at the next traffic lights turn right again onto Furness Quay. Follow the road round so that the RBS building is on your left and the entrance to the Furness House car park is straight ahead.
